1. THE ESSENTIAL RULE: DRIVE ON THE LEFT

Cyprus follows the British driving system. Always keep to the left and overtake on the right. If you are used to driving on the right, we strongly recommend renting an Automatic transmission vehicle from our fleet to make your transition easier.

Roundabouts: Always give way to traffic coming from your right. Nicosia’s roundabouts can be busy—stay in your lane and use your indicators early.
