Documents, Age and Insurance

Bring your full, original and valid driving licence, original passport or national ID, and the main driver’s payment card for the refundable security deposit. Drivers aged 25 to 80 must have held their licence for at least one year. Drivers aged 21 to 24 must have held it for at least two years, may rent Economy vehicles only, and pay a €6 per-day young-driver surcharge.

If your licence uses a non-Roman alphabet, you must also present a valid International Driving Permit. Additional drivers must be named on the rental agreement and present their original documents.

Your booking includes the insurance stated in the rental agreement, subject to its excess and exclusions. Optional LCDW or SCDW excess-reduction cover may be available depending on the vehicle category and rental period. Infinite Car Rentals does not offer zero-excess cover.

Driving an Automatic Rental Car Across the Green Line

Driving into Northern Cyprus is allowed when you inform the pickup agent, receive written confirmation on the rental agreement and purchase the required border insurance at the crossing.
